Why circle area is equal to πr^2

Today we are going to teach you why the area of circle is equal to πr^2.here is the answer of that question
as we know that the area of circle is equal to area of rectangle
which is in return equal to the product of base and radius of circle.so the base of the rectangle is equal to the half of the circumference .

As we know that
circumference =2πr
so base is divided by 2 and we get
πr
when we find the value after this we multiply the base and radius value to get the area of circle which is equal to
πr2.
formula
base * radius

πr * r= πr2
